The Irish Ambassador to Vietnam, Deirdre Ní Fhallúin, also reaffirmed support for IVAP as a platform for collaboration, bringing together government agencies, research institutions, academia, civil society, the private sector, and international partners, to co-develop solutions and innovations that support the implementation of Vietnam’s Food Systems Transformation Strategy and National Action Plan.
SFSI project manager Dr. John Rae moderated a panel discussion on North-South collaboration, bringing together public and private sector professionals from Vietnam and Ireland. Closing remarks were provided by Director General of the International Cooperation Department Nguyen
Vietnam and Ireland look forward to continuing to expand their bilateral partnership through technical assistance, scientific and technological research collaboration, innovation, knowledge sharing, training, and human resource development.
